One of the most exciting features that you can see at Walt Disney World is their grand finale at closing time. Sure, no one really wants to leave, especially after all the fun and excitement you had all day, but all good things must come to an end. However, Disney sends you off in such a magical way that it makes you alright with leaving the park. Every night, right before closing time, Walt Disney World puts on an enchanting celebration in the form of a parade, the Main Street Electrical Parade, as a farewell to their visitors. The parade is impressive enough on its own, but now Disney is introducing a brand new feature to their daily closing ceremony and that feature is named "The Magic, The Memories and You!"
"The Magic, The Memories and You!" is presented in true Walt Disney Fashion. Throughout your day, you will notice that there are so many cast members roaming around the grounds at Walt Disney World and they will be asking you and your family to turn and smile for the castle. Now, you maybe be wondering what that means exactly, but by the end of the night, you will know what that is all about. The new event projects a huge slideshow on the main outside wall of Cinderella's Castle and it stars you! Well, you and everyone else that was visiting the park that day.
Each cast member that you see with a camera is documenting your adventure at Walt Disney World and then they put all of the photographs together and then proceed to present to you one of the most gigantic projection shows that you have ever seen. It has been said that the show consists of over 475 images that were taken throughout the day. The new spectacle is presented by 16 of the most modern projectors that money can buy. Video and still photography shimmy across the face of the castle behind some of your favorite and classical Walt Disney songs. The creative minds behind the new event put together a new them song for "The Magic, The Memories and You!" and they call it "Let The Moment Begin."
What a way to end on of the best days that you will ever have on vacation. Disney has really put a whole new light on how they say goodbye to their park-goers. "The Magic, The Memories and You!" is a great way to see your day at the park and provide some of the most valuable memories for you and your family. So, what you need to do is get out to Walt Disney World and see what all of this news is about for yourself. Oh, and if you happen to be visiting Disneyland on, or after, 27 January 2011 (on various nights), you will be able to see a show very much like the one at Disney World.
